Two week adventure through Chilean Patagonia, including a marathon in the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park.

Overview
The Event

The Torres del Paine National park in Chilean Patagonia is, many would argue, one of the most beautiful mountain locations on the planet. What better place to stretch your legs on one of the most southern marathons in the world.

With options to run a 10k, half marathon, full marathon or ultra (60km), all taking place on the same day, this event attracting around 1000 runners from all over the planet is one not to miss.

With ample time to explore the park itself and surrounding areas, this is a unique adventure for both the runner and supporter alike.

Chilean Highlights

To help ease you into Chilean life after the long flight, we will have a couple of days visiting Santiago and a nearby vineyard. After the event, we will also be taking in some of the highlights of the Patagonian area, including sea kayaking through icebergs, boating down the Last Hope Sound and getting up close and personal with magellanic penguin colonies!

A mind blowing adventure with a once in a lifetime race opportunity.

Who is this trip for?

The Patagonian International Marathon attracts all levels of runners, from elite athletes to active amateurs. Anyone considering this event will probably be aware of the demands of such a race, and although you will be in the mountains, this race has the advantage of being close to sea level throughout the route.

The race is largely on an unpaved road with some more basic tracks in parts. No narrow trails or steep mountain routes to tackle.

If you are looking to join this trip as a spectator, you will not feel like you are missing out. There will be chance to cheer friends and family on during race day, or take a day's horse riding, trekking or relaxing while they sweat on the run!
