Congratulations to Elspeth Hunt and her Mum, Debbie, who have just raisd a huge £1,300 for the Livingstone Tanzania Trust by walking 50kms in under 12 hours, following the Thames Path Challenge on 29th September 2012. An absolutely incredible achievement and proof that with a little thought and effort it is really possible to fundraise for your Gap Year exploits. Once again…well done ladies!!
Elspeth is part of the Quest Tanzania Gap Year team departing for Africa in January 2013 and will be working alongside the Livingstone Tanzania Trust for 6 weeks, constructing vital school infrastructure in rural communities near Babati, and working with local community members on sustainable agriculture and income generation projects.
Following her 6 weeks of hard work, Elspeth and the rest of the Tanzania Gap Year team will be rewarded with an exhilarating 6 week expedition through Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda – which will see them gaining their PADI OpenWater scuba diving qualification, going on safari to spot the “big 5”, trekking, white water rafting and much much more!
