Congratulations to all of you in Scotland who received your Highers results recently and the best of luck to everybody with A-Level results looming later this week!

Getting your results and subsequently confirming offers of places on university courses can be a stressful experience and one we all remember well. This is especially true if the results you have in your hand aren’t quite what you expected. Maybe you have just missed the grades you need, or perhaps you have completely surpassed all your expectations. Either way if taking a year out to reapply next year is the route you are thinking of taking then don’t panic!
