A huge thank you to the wonderful friends and family of Kevan and Penny Ashbridge, who raised £260 for the Quest School in Villa Maria at Kevan’s big birthday bash the other day!  This money is a fantastic donation to help support the work in Villa Maria, and will be used to provide full sponsorship for one of the children there, which costs £200 and covers school fees, books and uniforms.  

The remainder can purchase a full set of uniforms for one pupil. Although there is sometimes quite a debate over the topic of school uniforms in the UK, having a uniform for the VM school not helps to reinforce the sense of community in this school serving a few different communities, but it also importantly provides the pupils with good quality clothing they can wear every day, cutting down on other clothing costs for struggling.
