Quest News

3 years on from my 3 month
marvel across 3 South American countries, I still consider myself a true ‘Questie.’ As an ex-volunteer from the Villa Maria Gap Project, I now find myself as keen as ever to be involed with Quest and so have ended up in the Hove offices for summer! Definitions
of a Questie vary from team to continent, but for me it comes under being experimental,
devoted and spirited! Having travelled for a total of 8 months of my year out,
the 3 months spent with Quest had to be the most memorable. I still have no
idea how we fitted everything we did into such a short time frame and how on
earth team leader Pete AKA Uncle Pedro, coped with 16 boisterous
adults in the making!

As a
geography student at Kings College London I’ve kept up my relationship with
Quest as an ambassador around various schools and universities in London, and now I’m spending part of
my summer interning with them down in the bohemian Brighton.

For any ex
volunteers, I recommend a read through the stories Team
Bolivia 2013 have
had to share on the website, it’s brought back many funny and fond memories particularly on the hilarity of Pedro’s exploits! Read: http://www.questoverseas.com/team-updates-blogs.html

Really looking forward to my time
here in the office, I’ll be posting on our Facebook and Twitter accounts regularly so keep an eye out, and I can’t wait to share the
excitement for those of you due to head off in the next couple of weeks for
your summer expeditions!!
