Okay that might be exaggerating things a little, but we did do our bit. On a beautiful sunny day in Brighton, 8,000 people got together to run 26.2 miles at the second annual Brighton Marathon, and Quest helped out by manning the water station at mile 6.
An early start at 6am wasn’t enough to put off our keen volunteers, and 24 bright faced individuals (some less bright than others) turned up, donned their ever so sexy high vis jackets and started unpacking the 10,000 bottles of water soon to be handed out.
Here are some of our lovely bottle handers outers, or “Front of House Staff” as they liked to call themselves apparently…
Even the street clearers were loving it! Thanks to everyone which came and helped out, and congratulations to the runners (including 6 who ran for our charity Quest4Change). See you all next year!
