Congratulations to Christine, Eleanor, Elisha, Harry, Joe, Noemi, Joseph and leader Jessie, who all summited Mount Kilimanjaro yesterday, with no shortage of gruelling huffs and puffs to get up there…  The team are all now back in Arusha, hopefully enjoying some hot foot soaks and RnR, before heading out tonight for a celebratory meal, and maybe a dance if their tired feet can handle it!

We hope very much to have some snaps and a more personal account of the journey soon, but in the meantime, I have slipped in a classic Kili shot to set the scene – it really is quite high, isn’t it?!  

And a massive high five also goes out to the other half of team Tanzania, to Beth, Kelly, Peter, Pippa, and Rosie, who headed on their merry way after a fantastic four weeks in Babati, building toilet blocks and a school kitchen at the Frederick Sumaye school.  A joyful but by no means restfilled summer – well you can sleep when you die right?  Summers are for adventure!!
