It has been a long time coming since Morgan Tsvangirai won the first round of the Presidential elections last year. He has now been sworn in as Prime Minister in a unity government with Robert Mugabe.
The new Prime Minister has a mountain to climb to get Zimbabwe back on track. Hyper inflation and the recent cholera epidemic will be his first challenge. There is still skepticism if this power sharing will work with Mugabe still a dominating and controlling figure.
We can only hope that this is a good sign for Zimbabwe and that the country will soon be back on track for a positive future for its people and the rest of Africa.
